ABOUT HAAC

The Hispanic Association of Atlantic County (HAAC) was founded in 2018 by a small group of Latinos determined to advocate for the Hispanic community, foster networking, and promote the diverse Hispanic cultural heritage.

Volunteer for different events and cause whether you are interested in Youth and Education or Advocacy, the HAAC is home to a multitude of causes. We encourage all of our members and community member alike, to volunteer for an event or cause because our strength is in our members.
Donate to our causes and scholarship funds. HAAC prides itself as on organization by the community for the community. All the funds receive go directly into the work we do for the community, including scholarships for our youth.
OUR PILLARS
EDUCATION
HAAC recognizes the importance of a high quality education and is committed to helping youth in our community achieve their educational and professional dreams. HAAC continues to create educational events such as our Youth Leadership Summit. HAAC will also create a scholarship fund to help Hispanic students with the costs of higher education
CULTURE
HAAC is committed to sharing the beauty that is the Hispanic culture with its traditions, language, idioms, religious beliefs and practices, legends, arts, music, literature, cuisine, history, and family values with the South Jersey community and beyond
ADVOCACY
HAAC identifies community advocacy and civic engagement as strategic mobilization, and as a result promotes participation in our political process to change or implement policies that affect Hispanics. Efforts include legislative education workshops, community service programs, immigrant accompaniment initiatives, and promotion of qualified Latinos to leadership positions.
